Day 6: Ifrane – Midelt -Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga desert
We start this day at Ifrane “the Lion City” in the southeast direction, we prefer to rest for lunch before we continue to the Middle Atlas mountains , then we drive by the cedar forest of Azrou, we are still in the deep south in Errachidia in order to take photos and enjoy interesting views of the gorges and Oasis zigzag path , then relax on the edge of the sand dunes . It’ll be an incredible experience swimming in the pool house guests, while in the vastness of the desert that extends in front of us, after lunch we have free time to explore the dunes or take a tour in the desert in camel, In the evening we have dinner around a campfire , and sleep in tents.
Day 7-8: Merzouga – Gorges Todra – Dades valley and ravine.
Today we go back to meet our driver, then travel through the vast rural areas, seeing the impressive landscape changed again. Local conditions permitting thevisit to the impressive Todra Gorge before continuing to Dades Gorge, finally we spend the night and have the dinner inDades Gorges.
Day 9: Dades Gorge – Rose Valley – Skoura – AitBenhaddou – Atlas mountains – Marrakech.
We start the day with the breakfast then enjoy the green landscapes course to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara and now famous in Hollywood in the desert, due to the number of famous movies that have been made. We drives along the river Ounila which is known for its Kasbahs , we visit then fortified city of AitBenhaddou , declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1987 , along the ancient caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech in the current Morocco, we are jumping over the 2260m Tizi n’Tichka and then down to the plains, in the afternoon we arrive to Marrakech in order to spend the last night in the Hotel together.
Day 10: Marrakech – Transfer to the airport.
The tour ends after breakfast since it is the last day, so we transfer to the airport .
For those arriving by plane at the end of the day you’ll have the chance to take an optional excursion to the Ourika Valley , or for those who adhere to the Atlas Trek (subject to flight schedules ), the journey starts after breakfast, and ends in the afternoon , around 5 pm
