Gloria MeyetVerified Great 11 day tour of Morocco We just finished an eleven-day tour offered by Atlas tours in which Mohammed was our driver and principal guide, from Casablanca through to the Sahara, and concluding in Marrakesh. It was wonderful, and everything about it, from the locations to the accommodation, was carefully thought out and designed for our interests. Mohammed was a skilful driver with an obvious array of good contacts in every place we visited. He was able to deviate from our planned route on a couple of occasions to accommodate things that arose on the fly. He helped us negotiate a few purchases and advise on local customs. He was flexible on timing and knew how to adjust the schedule to suit our ages and eating habits. I would have no hesitation in recommending Atlas tours and Mohammed to anyone interested in this longer, personal tour of the country.Verified Epic desert tour đ My friend and I took a 3 day desert trip while in Morocco. Starting in Marrakech, we travelled through Ouarzazate and Merzouga before heading to Fes- stopping at the most beautiful sights along the way. Atlas tours actually came highly recommended by friends of ours and they definitely lived up to the hype! Prior to the trip we had a lot of detailed questions. Shoutout to Lachsan who was so responsive and answered each one with so much patience. Youssef, our private driver was super nice and easygoing. We felt really safe and comfortable with him. He answered so many of our questions and was pretty much our photographer too! Traveling the desert with Atlas Tours is the best thing we ever did. I cannot recommend them enough :)Verified Atlas Mountain day trip We did the Atlas Mountain all day tour as 5 Adults with the lovely Ahmad! He was so fluent with his English, explained things to us and looked after my mum from the start of the hike up the mountains to the bottom. Ahmad is very well mannered, we would love to do another tour again with him. He was so friendly and made sure we were all okay throughout the trip. Le premier jour nous avons dĂ©butĂ© la route de Marrakech avec notre chauffeur Hassan. Nous avons empruntĂ© la route du Tizi NâTichka, puis nous sommes allĂ©s jusquâĂ la Kasbah de Telouet. Nous nous sommes arrĂȘtĂ©s pour manger face Ă Ait Benhaddou puis nous avons visitĂ© ce magnifique Ksar qui fut le thĂ©Ăątre de bon nombre de films. Notre pĂ©riple a continuĂ© passant par Ouarzazate et terminant par une nuit dans un super Riad dans la vallĂ©e du Dades. Au matin du 2eme jour, nous avons repris la route pour aller voir les gorges du Dades puis celles du Todra. Nous sommes passĂ©s prĂšs de lâimmense oasis du Tafilalt avec un petit dĂ©tour par Rissani ou nous avons pu dĂ©guster les meilleures dattes! AprĂšs Rissani, direction Merzouga! Lâimage des dunes nous trotte dĂ©jĂ dans la tĂȘte ⊠malgrĂ© un temps couvert Ă lâarrivĂ©e cette Ă©tendue de sable Ă©tait fascinante! Nous voilĂ dĂ©posĂ©es dans la sable prĂȘtes Ă essayer un nouveau moyen de locomotion: le dromadaire !! Câest parti pour 1h30 de chevauchĂ©e afin de gagner notre campement pour la nuit. Nous Ă©tions toutes les 3 bouche bĂ©e face Ă ce paysage si exceptionnel. Le camp Ă©tait tout simplement surrĂ©aliste, on aurait pu se croire parachutĂ© directement dans lâunivers dâAladin ! Nous avons trĂšs bien mangĂ© puis nous avons terminĂ© la soirĂ©e autour du feu au son des tambours et des chants berbĂšres! 3eme jour: levĂ© aux aurores afin de pouvoir admirer le levĂ© du soleil depuis le haut dâune dune. Câest un si beau spectacle quâil vous mettrait presque la larme Ă lâĆil âŠ! AprĂšs avoir profitĂ© de ce beau moment dans les dunes nous sommes rentrĂ©es prendre le petit dĂ©jeuner au camp et nous avons repris la route (en ayant toutefois pris le temps de faire un peu de 4x4 dans les dunes!!! ) Sur la route du retour (diffĂ©rente que celle de lâaller) on se croit dans la savane, vous vous imaginez presque que des girafes et des Ă©lĂ©phants vont apparaĂźtre dâun moment Ă lâautre. Nous sommes passĂ©s par la vallĂ©e du Draa puis nous avons repris la route du Tichka jusquâĂ Marrakech. Il faut certes faire beaucoup de route pendant ce trip mais ça en vaut la peine!!! Notre chauffeur sâest arrĂȘtĂ© souvent pour quâon puisse faire des photos, manger un morceau, ou juste faire une petite pause ce qui rend la route beaucoup plus facile! Hassan a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs gentil, prĂ©venant et drĂŽle. Câest un trĂšs bon chauffeur! La voiture Ă©tait trĂšs confortable! The trip was beyond expectations as he did his best to make us feel welcomed and happy. His car was very comfortable, Iâm not sure but I think it is new. He is a very good driver and we felt safe all the way. Beside this he helped us with all sorts of tips and tricks. Unfortunately because of this pandemic times we had to make a PCR test âon the last minuteâ. He helped us with this even if this was not his job. He got us to a testing centre. Without him we would not have been able to do the test in time and couldnât get home as planned. The road trip was very good and we felt safe all the time. The tour was very balanced, well organized and every activity and accomodation on the way were very good. But the best part was the tour guide who by the end of the tour became our friend. Also, since the trip happened in the awful Coronavirus times, when restrictions were constantly changing, we needed fast PCR tests, which Mbarack helped us take in due time.
